Little Falls Hollow Farm takes care to make sure each plant is grown with the love and attention it needs to thrive post-transplant.

Note: Little Falls Hollow seedlings are grown to order. Depending on the crop, it may take 2-6 weeks from your order date before seedlings are ready for delivery and transplant. Many summer vegetables benefit from starting early indoors so that they are ready to start producing quickly once the weather is warm enough. Best to order early!

Seedlings are grown in 1" or 2" soil blocks. Along with promoting healthier root development at the critical early stage in a plant's life, soil blocks tend to make transplanting easier and allows for more successful transplanting of crops that don't like root disturbance (like radishes and beets). 72-cell trays for smaller plugs are available upon request for larger orders.

I can offer tips and ideas for any of these crops if you have questions about what would work in your space or how to support the crop after transplanting. You can also book time with me for an on-site consultation to plan your garden, to help prepare soil and build support structures, or to do the actual transplanting for or with you.
